Inclusive production of pions and rho0 mesons in π+p interactions at 32 GeV/c

Experimental data on inclusive cross sections and inclusive . distributions of π+, π-, π0, γ and rho0 in the 32 GeV/c π+p interactions are presented and discussed. The total inclusive cross sections of these particles are found to be σ(π+)=59.7+-0.5 mb, σ(π-)=30.7+-0.4 mb, σ(π0)=38+-9 mb, σ(γ)=86.4+-3.5 mb and σ(rho0)=5.9+-1.2 mb. Rough estimates of the eta and f cross sections are obtained. The detailed comparison of inclusive spectra with other π+p data at different energies, with the K+p, K-p and anti pp experiments at 32 GeV/c and with the different theoretical models is made
