Effect of staphylococcus aureus on the formation of hemopoietic colonies in the spleen and regeneration of erythpopoiesis in mice after irradiation

Description
Staphylococcus aureus Cowan-1 and Wood-46 strains inoculated in mice in the dose 1x108 cells stimulate the formation of endogeneous colonies on the spleen surface on the ninth day following the mice exposure to a sublethal dose. Staphylococci of both strains activate postradiation regeneration of erithropoiesis in the bone marrow and the spleen in mice, which is detected by 59Fe uptake at that. Formation of transitory endocolonies does not increase
