  • 1. Donner Lab., Univ. of California, Berkeley, Berkeley, CA

Description

The authors have designed, tested the major components, and tested the resolution results for a 2.5 mm resolution dynamic positron emission tomograph with a patient port of 30 cm in diameter. The measured resolution in the center is 2.6 FWHM with a decline in resolution to 2.7 x 4.2, eight cm from the center. The system has a temporal sampling capability of one second or less for the acquisition of a complete tomographic data set
