Pre-incident information for the public referring to possible dangerous situations arising through hazardous chemicals
Description
With the help from clear and comprehensive pre accident guidelines, which are easy to understand, we are able gain the confidence of the public and at the same time improve the acceptance of the chemical industry. The successful use of this information is linked with the openness to dialogue on behave of the company towards the public. In the presentation an example of such an information brochure and measures to improve the publics confidence will be presented. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Mit Hilfe einer umfassenden und gut verstaendlichen Vorabinformation ueber moegliche Gefahrenlagen mit gefaehrlichen Stoffen kann bei der Bevoelkerung die Akzeptanz fuer die Industrie verbessert werden. Dabei haengt der Erfolg vom Einsatz geeigneter Mittel und der Bereitschaft des Betriebes zum offenen Dialog ab. Im Referat wird eine Informationsbroschuere exemplarisch vorgestellt sowie weitere Massnahmen der Vertrauensbildung in der Bevoelkerung vorgestellt. (orig.)Additional details
