Radioimmunotargeting: Some recent advances
Description
Several new aspects of radioimmunotargeting for neoplastic lesions are reviewed in this paper. These include the use of single domain antibody, oncogene-coded protein and other intracellular targets so as to obtain pancarcinoma reactivity, newer methods of linking 99mTc to antibodies for radioimmunoscintigraphy. The selection of candidate radionuclides for radioimmunotherapy, particularly the possible use of radiosilver and radiogold, and the strategies of enhanced tumor targeting were also reviewed.
