Study of sputtering of a W-based composite in the flow of argon plasma

Description

The studies on the sputtering of the W-Cu and W-Ag composite materials for the discharge chamber of the thermonuclear reactor are carried out. The partial coefficients of the components sputtering are measured. It is established that combination of the materials into the composite significantly decreases the values of the sputtering coefficients of these materials. It is established that the partial coefficients of sputtering in the W-Ag composite by the irradiation through the Ar+ ions with the energy of 300 eV constitutes 0.18 atom/ion for the silver and 0.15 atom/ion for the tungsten

Abstract (Russian)

Проведены исследования по распылению композитных материалов W-Cu и W-Ag. Установлено, что парциальные коэффициенты распыления в композите W-Ag при облучении ионами Ar+ с энергией 300 эВ составляют для серебра - 0.18, для вольфрама - 0.15 атом/ион. Измерены парциальные коэффициенты распыления компонентов. Обнаружено, что объединение материалов в композит значительно снижает значения коэффициентов распыления этих материалов
