On correction to result of Glauber approximation for sigmasub(tot)(h4He) related to quark structure of 4He nucleus
Description
The nucleon-quark structure correction is estimated to the hadron- 4He interaction cross section, calculated in the Glauber approximation. Hadron scattering on the 4He nucleus, which is treated as a multiquark system, is described by the multiple rescattering method. The quark wave function of two nucleons inside 4He, the distance between them bei of order of a nucleon size, is written making use of the resonant group method. It is shown that the quark correction to σsub(tot)sup(Gl)(hsup(4)He) does not exceed approximately 2 mb
