Description
Performance characteristics of a particular non-standard configuration thermoelectric generator concept, involving triangular prismatic shaped electrodes, are predicted following a detailed analytical determination of its two-dimensional temperature field. A peculiar result emerging from this analysis, namely the performance characteristics depending on only one ''configuration'' parameter lumping together all relevant configurational details, is tentatively generalized on the basis of Osterle's ''unified theory of energy converters''.
