Diagnosis of soft tissue tumor

  • 1. National Central Hospital of Fukuoka (Japan)

Description

Of 56 cases of soft tissue tumor diagnosed by angiography and of 21 cases of the disease examined by computed tomography, some typical cases were shown together with their findings summarized, and the criteria for angiography were discussed. Malignancy is predictable by angiography, if the image is clear, computed tomography(CT) often failes to reveal fine structures, but enhanced CT provided image useful for diagnosis. CT was of value for preoperative anatomical considerations. (Ueda, J.)
