The effect of soil contamination by radionuclide of the Chernobyl NPP at the free aminoacids content in plants of forest community

Description

The investigations of the effects of radionuclide contamination at the plant of ground cover in forest community in the condition of the Poles'e reserve, in the Mogilev region and in the Vitebsk region as a control have been made in 1992-1993. It was shown the influence of irradiation at the quantity of amino acids in the plants but not at the quality of them. Specific differences in amino acids accumulation was revealed. The increase in radionuclide contamination resulted in increase of monoamino carbonic acids and monoamino dicarbonic acids content at 10-20 % in all investigated species of plants
