Tests of nuclear power plants. Classification and analysis of operators' errors at the nuclear power plant with a direct cycle cooling system

Description
Test results of a N2O4-cooled nuclear power plant are analyzed. Classification and analysis of personnel errors resulted in emergency shotdown with safety rod insertion are presented. The analysis revealed main reasons at the personnel errors for the particular plant: professional selection, training and psychophysiological peculiarities. Recommendations to enhance operational reliability of the plants are given
