The development of a state-of-the-art assay system for uranium-235 in solutions
Description
We describe the development of a high-accuracy, high-precision, and high-throughput system for the assay of 235U in solution samples. The tradeoffs involved in the various development steps are discussed and the ultimate system performance is documented. Assay accuracy and precision better than 0.2% should be attained in routine use. This is a significant improvement in the state of the art
