Description

A survey of natural radiation exposure to the public in a granitic area of western France was carried out during the 1984-1987 period. Indoor and outdoor gamma dose rates were measured with 6-month exposures of thermoluminescence dosemeters. More than 500 2-week integrated measurements of indoor 222Rn and 220Rn daughter concentrations were made with active dosemeters. The effective dose equivalents from both components of radiations were then calculated. (author)
