Angular anisotropy and a critical angular momentum in fission of nuclei by light charged particles
- 1. AN Kazakhskoj SSR, Alma-Ata. Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki
Description
Angular distributions of fission fragments in α-particle and proton induced fission of the nuclei 209Bi, 206Pb, 205Tl, 197Au, 185Re, and 182W are measured in the excitation energy range E=35-75 MeV. From analysis of the data new information on the critical angular momentum is obtaned and applied to develop in quasiclassical approximation a systematics for the distribution of angular momenta transferred to the fissionable nucleus and for the compound-nucleus production cross section in reaction with light charged particles
