Determination of the guaranteed value of the critical embrittlement temperature for steel 15KH2NMFA-A
Creators
Description
It is demonstrated that the values of the impact of a crack initiation and of the impact toughness proper can be successfully used as the criteria for determining the critical embrittlement temperature. The guaranteed value of the critical embrittlement temperature is defined as the intersection point of the approximated curves of the lower confidence boundary of the impact toughness and the upper shelf line of the impact toughness of the crack initiation with a probability of 95%. The method of developed has been used for determining the guaranteed value of the critical embrittlement temperature of the material for the shells of the active section of VVER-1000 nuclear reactors
