5. International Students Scientific Conference covered various fields of medicine, molecular biology and biology of the cell. Several works concerned influence of ionizing radiation on the cells and tissues. Mechanisms of radiation induced bacterial mutagenesis and DNA repair were also presented. In the medical part of conference numerous presentations concerned applications of radioisotopes and radiation in diagnostics and therapy (radioimmunoassay, SPECT and scintigraphy methods were used)
