The establishment of ITT Export Control Foundation at KAERI

In accordance with the revised foreign trade laws and regulations, the exporters of KAERI should pay attention to the transfer of ITT strategic items/technology. Considering the current methods used to control the export control including the ITT at KAERI, the current methods seem to be in a poor state. Accordingly, this report suggests new approaches to cope with the current environmental changes. First, KAERI should continuously provide the employees with informative education on the importance of export control including ITT control. Second, KAERI set a new management method with CP (compliance program) for dual-use items/technology. Third, it is suggested that KAERI classify its R and D projects. After the results of the classification, the project managers related to the export control may heed the export control including ITT.
