Diagnosis and therapy of cancer of bile papilla

Results are presented of the diagnosis and treatment of bile papilla carcinoma (BPC) complicated with jaundice by maximum realization of instrumental techniques potentialities and improvement in combined and radiotherapy methods. Identification of neoplasms, morphological confirmation of the diagnosis and determination of tumor process spreading were the main tasks of instrumental investigations in the BPC diagnosis. Results of diagnostic studies became the basis for developing diagnostic model providing the reliable diagnosis in case of BPC and permitting to select the adequate treatment tactics for every clinical situation.
