Description
The extensive utilization of computers has had a significant effect on commissioning at Darlington Nuclear Generating Station. The impact of computerization may be examined by presenting the challenges and benefits we have experienced in various applications of computers. Early problems with limited documentation, vendor and design support are being overcome. The first major systems with computer application, Water Treatment Plant and Tritium Removal Facility, show that the computerization is a major contribution to their successful performance. We expect our other systems to be equally successful
