The problem of measuring the size of the spinal canal by CT

The exact measurement of the transverse diameters of the bony spinal canal is not yet possible due to the limitations of the CT-systems presently available. Therefore, these measurements have to be made on conventional radiographs. (orig.)

Die exakte Groessenbestimmung des Wirbelloches im axialen Computertomogramm ist derzeit systembedingt noch nicht durchfuehrbar. Die Masse sind weiterhin aus den Roentgenuebersichtsaufnahmen der entsprechenden Wirbelsaeulenabschnitte zu entnehmen. (orig.)
