System for quality assurance of construction mounting works at the Huragua NPP

Main provision of the system for quality assurance during the Huragua NPP construction are considered. Quality control is performed at all the stages, beginning with the inlet quality control of the design documentation. In the system considered defects are classified according to the occurance reason (technological, due to personnel fault, bad materials, due to operation conditions), detection possibility (obvious, concealed), significance (effecting the final product quality or the quality of subsequent operation performance) and according to the possibility of their removing (non-removable, difficult-to-remove, easy-to-remove).For the guaranteed quality assurance the structural circuit of the production process should comprise quality control points and a collection of standard technical documents, comprising provisions and instructions, put into operation at the Huragua NPP till 1987
