Comparative analysis of silk gum extracted by aqueous and salt solutions

Description
The results of the extraction of silk gum from non-utilized silk waste from cocoon-winding factories of the Republic of Tajikistan using water and saline are presented. The aim of the work was to obtain a silk gum powder while preserving its original properties for further use as an adhesive for thread sizing. (author)
