Results of pre-irradiation of rectal carcinomas in consideration of side-effects
Description
Course observations on rectal carcinoma in the stage T 2-4 NXMO show, after a preirradiation, a drop in the number of the local relapses and an increased operability. The complications are not increased by the irradiation; the deeper front resection is possible also with preirradiation. (orig.)

Bisherige Verlaufsbeobachtungen beim Rectum-Karzinom im Stadium T 2-4 NXMO zeigen nach einer Vorbestrahlung eine Senkung der Anzahl der Lokalrezidive sowie eine erhoehte Operabilitaet. Die Komplikationen sind durch die Vorbestrahlung nicht erhoeht, die tiefe vordere Resektion ist auch bei Vorbestrahlung moeglich. (orig.)Additional details
