Free-bound transitions in complex atoms

Description
The nonrelativistic matrix element and cross-section of the radiative recombination on a complex atom are calculated for arbitrary (n,l)-subshells including the first retardation correction to the angular distribution of the emitted photon. Some comparisons with experimental and other theoretical data show that the approximation used in the present work gives reasonable results for light atoms in the energy range up to a few keV.
