Description
The results of mathematical simulations of thin carbonic target effect on the beam parameters at proton beam extraction from the IHEP accelerator using bent monocrystal, are given. Setting of thin target on the positive coordinates is shown to be most advantageous for capture in channeling regime and to allow to attain efficiency equal to ∼1% and to bring 107 protons to the pilot facility. 8 refs.; 2 figs
