Feynman's sum-over-histories in elementary quantum mechanics
Description
This paper uses Feynman's sum-over-histories approach to quantum mechanics to derive the Fermi Golden Rule and the Born approximation at a level of mathematical sophistication that should be suitable for undergraduates. It is suggested that the use of the sum-over-histories approach for dynamical calculations might make it easier for students to grasp the physical principles underlying quantum mechanics. (author)
