Dynamics of plasma capture and confinement in Trimix Galateya

Description

Below is a brief description of the Galateya-3 plant consisting of a coaxial plasma gun, a plasma guide and a trap - the Trimix Galateya with three mixins. Paper presents the parameters of a plasma cluster in a plasma guide and in a trap. It is shown that plasma may be efficiently trapped and may spread along the trap. In this case, the transverse dimensions of plasma configuration are beyond the Ohkawa surface limits. According to the estimations, particle escape from the trap is of the classical scale

Кратко описана установка Галатея-3, которая включает коаксиальную плазменную пушку, плазмовод и ловушку - галатею Тримикс с тремя миксинами. Приведены параметры плазменного сгустка в плазмоводе и в ловушке. Показано, что плазма может эффективно захватываться ловушкой и растекаться вдоль нее.
