Neutrino reaction in 13C

Description
We obtain cross sections for the reaction υe + 13C → Ngs + e- and υμ + 13C → 13Ngs + μ- from threshold to several hundred MeV. We obtain the vector current form factors from electron scattering data and the axial current form factors from beta decay data and arguments based on an impulse approximation result. The behaviour of the form factors is discussed in detail. (author)
