Description
The effects of cascade interaction on the atomic mixing were studied by Molecular Dynamics simulations. It is shown that the mean square displacement per atom and the number of displacements are increased by a factor of 4 to 5 when two spikes of 1 keV are produced at the same time and close to each other, compared to a single spike of 1 keV
