Plutonium atomic spectrum and its classification

Description

Data published on studies of the atomic spectrum of Pu1 and Pu2 are reviewed in brief. Presented are data on wavelengths of all classified lines of a neutral atom of plutonium, their energy levels and electron configurations being also given. All data were obtained as a result of measuring wavelengths, the Zeeman splitting, isotopic shift and superfine structure. A summarized table of classified lines of Pu1 is presented, which contains 1420 lines in the range of 25000-3000 A. The table comprises all resonance and most typical intensive lines of a neutral plutonium atom
