Incorporating Mg into the Si sub-lattice of molybdenum disilicide

Description

Theoretical analysis has identified Mg as the most promising element for this purpose, but its incorporation into MoSi2 has not been achieved. Through a combination of mechanical milling and field-activated synthesis, magnesium was successfully incorporated into the silicon sub-lattice of this silicide
