Formation of hydrogen mesic molecules at moderate gas densities

Description
Formation probability is calculated for mesic molecular complexes of heavy hydrogen isotopes. Account is taken of the contribution by binary elastic collisions with surrounding molecules. Equations are obtained that describe deformation of the resonance contour due to collisions. The resonance shift and width are calculated as function of density. Energy behaviour of the complex formation cross-section far from resonance centre is discussed. The limit low densities is considered
