Positron implantation in molecular liquids at high electric fields

Positron implantation experiments with an electric field applied parallel to the direction of the positron injection in n-hexane, neo-hexane and benzene lead to the following results: 1.) A remarkably large field dependence of the linear absorption coefficient reflecting the action of the electric field during the slowing-down period. 2.) The mean drift path and the mobility of thermalized positrons. 3.) The field dependence of the positronium formation up to 140 kV/cm. (Auth.)
