Description
A geometrical model for Pauli blocking and Fermi motion effects in ion-ion collisions is presented. The results, given as effective nucleon-nucleon total cross sections, indicate that the Pauli blocking reduces the nucleon-nucleon cross section in the ion-ion environment by a larger amount than previously estimated.
