Description
A comparison of different enrichment technologies and their economic aspects offers guiding information on criteria for selecting plants still to be erected. The diffusion, centrifuge, and separation nozzle methods are considered as well as the so-called South-African method and isotope separation by means of laser light. The existing enrichment plants, those under construction, and those being planned justify the assumption that there can be no real lack of separation capacity within the next ten years. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Eine vergleichende Beschreibung der verschiedenen Anreicherungstechnologien und ihrer wirtschaftlichen Aspekte bietet Anhaltspunkte fuer Auswahlkriterien zu erstellender Anlagen. Neben dem Diffusions-, dem Zentrifugen- und dem Trennduesenverfahren werden das sogenannte suedafrikanische Verfahren und die Isotopentrennung mit Laserstrahlung in Betracht gezogen. Die vorhandenen, in Bau befindlichen und geplanten Anreicherungsanlagen berechtigen zu der Annahme, dass in den naechsten zehn Jahren kein wirklicher Mangel an Trennkapazitaet auftreten kann.
