Kinetics of iodides oxidation by manganese dioxide in organic media

Description
The influence of initial reagents and water content ratio in the course of alkali metals and ammonium oxidation by manganese dioxide in toluene and acetic acid has been studied. Kinetics of the processes has been analyzed and dependences of rate constants and limiting transformation states on initial concentration of each component of the system have been considered. The conclusion is made about the limiting stage of the process
