Analysis of extreme dependences of limiting catalytic current on concentration of indium (3) and chloride ions

Description
Analysis of maximum occurrence mechanism on dependence curves of polarographic catalytic current on indium ion concentration is carried out using indium (3)-chloride-ions system as an example. It is shown that it is necessary to account In2L5+ polynuclear complex at In3+ ion high concentrations during investigation of complexing in In3+-L (L - SCN-, Cl-, Br-, I-) system. Derived quantitative correlations allow to optimize the organization of experiment on the investigation of complexing equilibrium, process kinetics and quantitative determination of ligand-catalyst
