Excitation of 3S, 3P and 3P deg levels of cadmium atom in collisions with slow electrons
Description
The cross sections and optical functions of the excitation of the transition, originating in the course of the 3S, 3P and 3P deg levels population by collisions of the slow electrons, with the cadmium atoms are experimentally determined. The cross sections dependence on the main upper level quantum number for the four CdI spectral series, testifying to the absence of significant perturbation of these series is obtained. The comparison of the above results with the data of previous works is carried out

Экспериментально определены сечения и оптические функции возбуждения переходов, возникающих в результате заселения уровней 3S, 3P и 3P град при соударениях медленных электронов с атомами кадмия. Получена зависимость сечений от главного квантового числа верхнего уровня для четырех спектральных серий CdI, свидетельствующая об отсутствии значительного возмущения этих серий.
