Total cross sections for electron scattering by molecules

  • 1. Department of Physics, Henan Normal University, Xinxiang, Henan 453002 (China)

Description

The additivity rule is employed to calculate the total (elastic and absorption) cross sections for electron scattering by molecules (O2, N2, CO and CO2) over an incident energy range of 10-800 eV. Compared with other calculations and experimental data when available, excellent agreement has been obtained. ((orig.))
