Theory of heavy ion collisions. Annual progress report

Description

Theoretical work has focused on heavy ion collisions. A classical model was developed in order to study heavy ion reactions in different energy regimes. In the low energy regime, the analysis dealt with fusion excitation functions and strongly damped collisions. In the intermediate range, the transport coefficients were studied. In the high energy regime, pion emission in relativistic heavy ion induced reactions was studied
