Framatome uses digital technology for standardization
Description
Framatome implements a Product Life cycle Management (PLM) process in order to improve the standardisation of the EPR-2 reactor. PLM includes methods and tools that ensure the management of the data collected all along the operating life of a component from construction to disposal via dismantling. Thanks to feedback, PLM will help optimizing design and then will contribute to standardisation. PLM will require some flexibility in standardization as feedback may show some improvement to make after shorter or longer periods of time. (A.C.)
