Description
In the present chapter, authors discuss new problems of the electron cyclotron emission (ECE) measurement that occur when it is applied to emissions from hot-electron plasmas of ITER. They include disagreement in the measured value with the Thomson scattering measurement especially in the region of high electron temperature, improvement in the spatial resolution and development of the transmission line for high-frequency systems. Some efforts to solve these problems are introduced as well. (T.I.)
