Design of a decade scaler prototype
Description
A prototype of a simple decade scaler made of devices and components available in the local market, is described. The constituents of the system, consisting of an amplifier, pulse shaper, counting system, low voltage and high voltage supply, are also described. The number of pulses counted are indicated on six digits, varying to a maximum of 999999 counts, using LED device. This apparatus may be interconnected with scintillation and Geiger Muller detectors.
