The concept of K-automorphisms in quantum field theory and the Jones index
Description
The approach of a many-particle system to equilibrium in quantum mechanics is investigated. A concept of a quantum K system is defined. There are several possibilities which are discussed. It is shown how these K systems are related to the structure of the Jones algebra. The quantum case is richer than the classical one and new features occur. 19 refs. (qui)
