Improvement of ultrasonic wave visualization method with utilizing piezo-electric films
Description
One of the most essential skills that the ultrasonic testing technicians are acquired is to understand ultrasonic propagation in the test object. The visualization of ultrasonic propagation enhances their understanding. Applying the piezo-electric films, we develop a new ultrasonic visualization method. The principle of the improved method and application for austenitic stainless steel are shown in this paper. (author)
