Time measuring device for the operation of control rods

Description

Purpose: To enable measurement for the operation time of optional control rods and estimation for the function of control rods driving, by the use of the transmission path for the pulse transmission type control rods position indication system. Constitution: The device comprises a time display device, a control rod position indicator device, a control rod position transmission device and a control rod position detection device. In the case of measuring the operation time for one rod, a start signal is generated from a time measurement demand device by way of a transmission path, by which all of the time measuring devices are started. The measured time is stored in respective memory devices. After scanning the control rod addresses from the transmission path, a reading signal and the relevant address for the control rod are sent successively, by which the transmission path can receive the relevant address for the control rod and the time required for the passage of every one notch subsequent to usual control rod position signal. This signal is processed in a time calculating device and displayed to operators. (Kawakami, Y.)
