Development of water treatment methods

Description
Data on new US developments in water treatment for thermal and nuclear power plants, electrodialysis, reverse osmosis and preliminary treatment systems are provided. Examples of water supply systems without drainage and attraction of outside companies for water treatment are given. It is pointed out that fixed-price service is one of advantages of attracting an outside company, as a result, total saving of funds for the Chapel Cross NPP in 2000 is estimated as 550 thousand of US dollars

Приведены сведения о новых разработках США в области водоподготовки для ТЭС и АЭС, об установках электродиализа, обратноосмотических и предочистки. Приведены примеры бессточных систем водоснабжения и привлечения внешних фирм к подготовке воды. Отмечено, что одним из преимуществ привлечения внешней фирмы является обслуживание по фиксированной цене, в результате чего общая экономия средств в 2000 г. для АЭС Chapel Cross оценивается в 550 тыс. долларовAdditional details
