Description
LMFBR neutronic design parameter calculation uncertainties are examined and justified. These uncertainties are still significant and it is shown that they can increase when assessing the performances of future envisageable cores. This point is examined using sophisticated analysis techniques, since the appropriate uncertainty assessment can have an impact on the economic characteristics of future cores. Target accuracies are also indicated and the role of future integral experiments to meet these targets is stressed. (author)
