The reaction 6Li(e, e'p)5He and three-particle clustering in 6Li

Description
The electron induced proton removing reaction from a 6Li nucleus is described by a dynamical microscopic cluster model. The ground state of 6Li is represented by a pair of spherically distortable alpha and d clusters. The residual five nucleon system (5He) is described by a continuum combination of alpha+n and t+d clusterizations. The scattering boundary conditions are taken into account. The theoretical description is compared to the experimental data of reaction energy spectrum. The origin of the observed discrepancies is discussed. (D.G.) 13 refs.; 4 figs.; 1 tab
