Radiation gamma-annealing of the reactor pressure vessel steel

Description
Character of temperature shift changes in ductile-brittle transitions of the pressure vessel steel by the thickness of the recommissioned WWER-reactors is analyzed. It is shown that δTF by one and the same neutron fluence depends on the γ-quanta flux density. Analysis of results on the welded joint metal from the viewpoint of the γ-radiation is fluence γ-quanta flux from 5 x 1011 up to 5 x 1012 5-1 cm-2 may lead to essential increase in the neutron fluence, necessary for achieving the given δTF
